A longtime “solid” neighborhood “go-to” , this “pleasant” , “low-key” Chelsea Vietnamese serves up “delicious” , “delicate” standards; “reasonable prices” and a location “close to the Joyce Theater” are pluses, though the “little” space is on the “tight” side.

The prices are great and the food is tasty! Nothing to complain about here. They seem to fill up a glass of wine really full if you order that, so that's definitely a plus. The service was also great. This place is solid!

The food is well-priced, slightly nicer Vietnamese food compared to your average cheap eats. The summer rolls are physically smaller than you’d expect but still a big win. It tastes fresher and strikes a better balance between prawn, rice noodles, and herbs than your run-of-the-mill mouth-stuffing monstrosity. I also got the clay pot ginger chicken, which really just seemed like ginger chicken over rice dolloped into a clay bowl instead of being cooked in one. But the flavors were still present and bright. It tasted closer to home-cooked comfort food than to Asian food cooked for Americans, which saucy rice dishes often degrade into, which was a welcome touch.

The location is pretty basic but the food was surprisingly enjoyable! Came here for lunch and got a seat right away.
