Turning out “Japanese comfort food” that’s “consistently delicious” , these “nothing-fancy” branches of a Tokyo-based izakaya chain provide “down-to-earth” favorites like yakitori, soba and soup bowls; given the “reasonable” pricing (and no-tipping policy), the only hitch is the occasional “wait.”

This place seems to always be packed! I got lucky and found a seat at the bar immediately. The service was very welcoming and the ambiance is great. The decor is sophisticated and does a good job evoking Japan. Great place for a date or eating alone. I had the special soba, which I'd describe as something between a dry soup and a wet salad. It was very tasty and a great late evening meal, which against my expectations filled me up.

This is my new favorite place to eat. It is a little pricey but the food was so amazing. I loved the little steamed egg side dish. I've honestly never had steamed egg that was so silky and smooth, and also so flavorful. The katsu was cooked perfectly, and the fish was pretty good too. Service was top notch. They give you a little warm hand towel to wash your hands with before your meal. The staff were very friendly and nice. This is also a no tipping restaurant. I will definitely be coming back for more.

The place was super nice and the food super yummy. Me and my sister stumbled upon it while walking around and it looked nice so we went in. There was a hot towel to start and everyone working there is super polite. The food was good but I liked the appetizer foods more than I liked the main course meals. All and all super wonderful place to have just found. A little pricy and worth it.
