Turning out “Japanese comfort food” that’s “consistently delicious” , these “nothing-fancy” branches of a Tokyo-based izakaya chain provide “down-to-earth” favorites like yakitori, soba and soup bowls; given the “reasonable” pricing (and no-tipping policy), the only hitch is the occasional “wait.”

There are a few dishes around this city that I literally have dreams about. When I think about the hamburg stew that I ordered here one night my mouth waters a little bit. I'm not usually the type of person to take pictures of my food, but on this occasion I just had to. Not only was it heartwarming to the soul but it was really appealing to the eye! I've also frequented their other location on 18th but this one had a more casual vibe!

Pricy for the quality. The menu was not what I expected. No alacarte sushi and missed the simplecity of Japanese food. I ordered one of the bowls. One of the pieces of sashimi had a bone in it. This has never happened to me at a sushi place. I will not come back.
