The Opry City Stage is a great place! The food was excellent, the service was good and the entertainment by a live band named "The Nashville Attitude" was outstanding! Especially the lead singer who was awesome. Incredible talent. The only disappointment we experienced was checking in with the hostess. Even with our reservations, we had to wait awhile, missing that terrific band which we still tried to enjoy by the entrance until we were finally seated.

Really enjoyed the experience here. Food was good and certainly plentiful. Tried grits for the first time ever which wasn’t what we expected. I’d say it’s akin to bubble and squeak for those from the U.K. and Ireland. It was lovely however. Entertainment was good. Especially if you’re into Country. Service from one or two members of staff was lacking a smile here and there - Doesn’t cost anything and since this place styles itself on the South it’s a little Ironic that the southern hospitality doesn’t seem to be included in the package across the board. Don’t get me wrong some of the staff were lovely but it was obvious that a few of them didn’t want to be there. I imagine that’s a New York trait however as this wasn’t the only place where our custom was met with more of a “WhatYouWant” than a “Welcome”.

The ambiance of this place is great- the service, not so much. The hostess/greeter on the ground floor didn't even know there was a happy hour, and we sat for about 10 mins without even being asked if we wanted water. Who knows how long it would have taken to eat! We left before we could find out. The restaurant wasn't even at capacity - a long wait for service might have been understandable if it was super busy. Full points for decor though! Definite fun country vibe!
