Ouzo Bay
Contemporary haunt for Greek seafood
Greek · Harbor East · $$$
The Zagat Review
“Supernal seafood” leads the “upscale Greek” lineup at this Harbor East “hot spot” , which also boasts a “phenomenal” modern setting near the water and a “happening” vibe buoyed by an “active bar” ; the “trendy” experience “comes at a cost” , but it’s “worth every penny” ; P.S. meals conclude with a complimentary shot of the eponymous Greek liqueur.

Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Wonderful wait staff. Nice portions. A bit pricey. Parking can be a problem. Black licorice complementary candy not our thing. Would definitely go again. 4.5 star rating!

Ouzo Bay is a decent to good Greek restaurant overall. It's definitely not your old-school Greek restaurant; it's modern and a bit too slick. Nonetheless the food is very tasty. I should note that my party and I had to wait for nearly an hour in the lobby standing around despite having a reservation.

Im only going to give 3 stars.. the first time I was introduced to Ouzo Bay it was over the top..Dinner at an outdoor table in the perfect spot, we ordered tons of food, everyone sampling this and that. I got the lemon chicken soup.. it was so good, I couldn't get enough, creamy, delicate flavors, perfect texture... fast forward a few weeks.. my husband took me back for a late Sunday brunch.. I was specifically craving the soup. Keep in mind we drove 2 hours for this dream worthy soup.. after lack luster, snail paced service my soup finally arrives...I was so disappointed.. it was basically lemon soup.. not the delicious, delicate perfection I had enjoyed previously.. this was better described as cream of lemon.. aggressive lemon. . considering that we drove so for this, and didn't want my husband disappointed because he was trying to make it a nice day for us.. so i choked it down.. i may stop in to Ouzo Bay in the future if I'm in the area but I would never again drive 2 hours for this place.
