Housed in a "beautiful, historic old building" in the French Quarter, this "jewel" is another "consistently well-done Brennan restaurant" where "everything is a delight" , from the "quality seafood dishes" and other "delicious" "New Orleans classics" to the "crisp linens and professional staff" ; though the dining room can be "a bit noisy" , many enjoy taking in the "energetic atmosphere" from a window or sidewalk table and "watching busy Canal Street" go by.

Let me just say how great this place is! Stopped in after walking by and checked out the happy hour deal. We’ve heard about this place during our visit to NOLA and we’re glad we happened upon it. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a super friendly host who assured us we would be seated promptly. Dan was our waiter and he blew it out of the water. Super knowledgeable, very personable, extremely friendly! Gave us great suggestion on drink options as well as Nikita, who was our beverage waitress. Overall the best experience since being in New Orleans.

Food Orgasm!!! That is the first words that come to my mind after our lunch at Palace Cafe. We had cocktails, starters , entree and of course dessert. And everything was so delicious, it can’t be described in words or with pictures. My experience is , you can order anything from the menu and be sure it will be one of the best you will have for your New Orleans stay. However, I would have to mention the crab cheesecake, Egg Benedict and White Chocolate pudding separately. These are must try if you are visiting this place.

So good we came here twice. If you come on a weekend night, make a reservation in advance. Food is really good and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area. You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. This place is nice inside but not too fancy. Good for casual wear or if you’re more dressy. Wait staff was quick and attentive.
