“A meat lover’s nirvana” , this “hip” butcher and hot spot in a former Remington auto shop puts the “emphasis on lesser-known cuts” to yield “wonderful housemade charcuterie” and other “carnivore delights” chased with “interesting” craft beers; the communal table–equipped quarters get “busy and noisy” , but most “wouldn’t change a thing” about the “smart staff” and “adventuresome” spirit.

My new favorite restaurant and bar. We went there yesterday for the first time and it was amazing. We sat outside to enjoy the nice weather and relax by the outdoor fire pit. Just the environment is worth it alone. But it didn't stop there, I ordered the Dad Bod along with the raw burger to share which both were phenomenal. I'm currently cutting weight for my wedding and the food was so good I just decided to make my cheat day that second because of how good the food was. Absolutely delicious I can't give enough praise about it. It is a little bit pricey but for the quality of meat you're getting it is worth it. I really wanted to try a cut from their butcher shop but it was as too expensive for me, but the Dad Bod was no consolation prize. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable which is always on my top 3 points of a restaurant and she blew it out the water. I 100% recommend this restaurant. One of the few gems Baltimore has to offer.

Went to butcher side. Purchased 4lbs of short ribs and the butcher came out to me, with the cut, and asked where I wanted it cut - doesn’t get better than that. They also gave me the piece with the most fat for free (FAT IS GOOD FOR YOU). The best butcher in Baltimore!!

Excellent service with unique meats and sides We enjoyed the turnips and sweet potatoes as well as a ribeye done perfectly with this green salsa on the plate—-almost a pesto i think. The “hock” was a crispy pork thigh with smoked meat and crisp skin served with mustard seeds. Beer selection was unusual with many local drafts. The desserts were wonderful with bread pudding the best choice.... One warning -we were warned by the waitress as i am sure she has heard complaints about this —-coffee refills are charged full bore.....four dollars per cup and four dollars for the refill. This restaurant is not inexpensive, and i don’t think they were hurting for our table——reconsider your Coffee refill policy...especially since the service and food are so good!!
