Pasquale Jones
Wood-fired pizzas & Italian plates

The Zagat Review
“Another winner” from the Charlie Bird team, this “hot” NoLita Italian “lives up to the fanfare” with “exceptional” pizzas and other “inventive” dishes from a wood-burning oven; there's a “nice buzz” in the “relaxed” space courtesy of a hip-hop soundtrack and a staff that’s like a “well-oiled machine” – but “good luck getting a table.”

Friendly staff, great lighting and interior. All items well thought out and seasoned. Pizza excellent, braised leeks amazing. Even with the restaurant completely full, not loud at all. Great sitting at the bar and having a close up view of the kitchen in action. Highly recommend.

Fabulous NYC ambiance. Great food with something to please everyone. Much longer than average wait for reserved table but made up for with a glass of bubbly. If you have to be somewhere on time after dinner maybe not your spot. Great for lingering, obviously.

The first three times I went here, I would have given it six stars if I could have, but the new menu (the website is not up to date) is less vegetarian friendly than before. We ordered a white pie, and asked to substitute the pork with a veggie, the waiter suggested broccoli, but it wasn't on the pizza. Always disappointed though, when my best option is to remove meat from something -- I know I'm not getting the best version of the dish before it even comes, and I'm still paying for the meat. And sure enough, the pizza was really meh, whereas in the past the pizzas have blown my mind.
