Passero's Coffee Roasters
House-roasted java & baked goods
Coffee · Washington Square West · $
One of Philadelphia's oldest coffee names sets up a cozy yet spacious cafe on the ground floor of the Franklin in Washington Square West. A move to house-roasting beans means an expanded line of java drinks, and the array of baked goods includes plenty of vegan options.

One of my favorite coffee shops. Their raspberry flavor is to die for! My go to. My boyfriend gets coffee here about 3x a week because of class and it definitely gives him that caffeine kick for the day. 😁

Roasted and brewed fresh always no matter what time of day. Great soups, salads, and sandwiches. High ceilings, warm and fun atmosphere, and always has great music playing. Staff is memerable and exceptionally friendly and caretaking.

Best coffee roaster in Philadelphia with a wonderfully curated collection of beans for sale. 2018 Update: I recommend the Sumatra and Sulawesi for home cold brew.
