The Zagat Review
Turning out “Naples-good” thin-crust pizza since 1933, this East Harlem “treasure” and its separately owned offshoots offer “generous portions” of “hit-the-spot” Italian-American fare as well as an “excellent variety of salads” ; while “nothing compares” to the original, all the “dependable” locales are “magnets” for families.

This little pizza joint is the best I've ever had! They have 13" and 17" pizzas for about $19 and $24. The ingredients are top notch with fresh, firm mozzarella that melts in your mouth and wonderful thickly sliced pepperoni and hearty italian meatball slices. The crust was ever so slightly blackened (in a good way), crunchy with a pleasant level of chewy. This pizza is more filling than regular pizza slices, which is a testament to the quality of the ingredients. The service is fast but not TOO fast (speeds that reassure me the pizza is fresh and made to order, but by no means slow.) Maybe 10-15 minutes with bread and extra virgin olive oil with a mild peppery finish to munch on. Overall, I would recommend Patsy's to anyone that visits New York.

Everything was wonderful and the service was very quick! Has a homey and local pizzeria atmosphere with great food and friendly staff. I knew this place was going to be great when I saw they set out very good quality olive oil on the tables. Pizza with the roasted peppers was delicious as well as the salad. Would definitely plan to visit again!

This is my first time in NY and was told to come here. I loved it! I got the spaghetti and it was delicious and a very good portion! You could probably share between two people. It is a pretty pricey meal about 22 bucks total but it was very tasty! Would recommend to try it out if in town.
