I flew back from vegas a day early for lunar new year. Today I was hungry in the area, but most places were closed. It was late and I made a decision to try this location. Not my first time at Patxi's, but it has been a while. Came in for their lunch special featuring a slice of pizza and salad or soup of day for USD $9.95-. The place wasn't busy just three active tables. Service was great as host jot down order, then came out with salad to start. I really like the salad as real bacon bits were used. Pizza had nice crust, but flavor was a little off from past experience. Sauce was like from a can with metallic after taste. It was satisfying had good portion and all, but something was just amiss from what I remember.

Super yummy pizza!! I tried the thin crust as well as the deep dish and enjoyed both. The fresh mozzarella was fantastic!! The deep dish made great leftovers too 👅

The best pizza in the bay area. Thick or thin crust. Great tomato sauce. Lots of cheese. Imaginative toppings.
