Although these family-friendly Bay Area pizzerias are known for their "true Chicago-style" deep-dish pies, regulars say the thin cornmeal-crust pizzas are "da bomb" too; "friendly" staffers, a "full bar" and "big flat-screens" for "watching the ballgame" are reasons why it can be "crowded" , so insiders anticipating "long waits" "call ahead" and order a half-baked to go.

12/15- waited 90 minutes for our pizza delivery, called in and they said Postmates delivered to our house 30 minutes prior. Never got it. Was home the whole time. Last order on 10/20 - ordered our pizza, delivery driver delivered someone else's pizza (with meat) to us and took off before we realized it. Store sent a new (veg) one to replace it. Took 2.5 hours to get dinner that night. 3 Months ago- ate in store in Noe Valley- service was miserable and then we were told our pizza fell off the oven and they were re-making it. If these three random incidents are indicative of your business model- you have no hope of survival! Your operation is spiraling out of control.

The Vegan pizza was alright, sauce was good and so was the crust. However our service was bad, They didn’t give us the correct change because they told us “they were out of coins.” Patxi’s had a very different online menu than their dine in menu. The vegan pizza was priced at 18.00 online for a 12in but we got charged 29.66 for the pizza. Wouldn’t come back.

Awesome (but pricey) deep-dish pizza spot. I feel as though I got my money's worth from this delicious pizza. They also carry Fort Point beer on tap!
