"Kind of 'bar-y', kind of 'restaurant-y'" is the word on this upmarket American bistro in Washington Square West, where a black, white and red palette plus old-time celeb photos suggest a '40s-era supper club; it draws a fun-loving crowd to down shots and sliders at the "fantastic happy hour" , but the regular menu offers "interesting" options too.

Had dinner here one evening looking for a spot for a rehearsal dinner. Had an amazing vegetarian stew. Been back a few times for lunch. Small, quiet, restaurant in an old row house. Great food and drinks. I consider it a gem of a find!

It's the hip brunch place with nice music on the background. Staff are nice and food is decent. Definitely come with friends it's the kind of place that people can talk, drink, be a little loud and have a good time

Can only speak for brunch but the servers took care of the entire floor. You could ask any server for help and you got it. The food was very tasty, as were the drinks. A little pricey for brunch but it's in center city. Value now where to be found.
