A “Gramercy Park tradition” , this circa-1864 “landmark” turns out “gently priced” Italian-American pub grub in an “old-time” space where former regular O. Henry “would still be comfortable” ; though the food's “passable” , it’s the “history, charm” and “lively” front bar that “brings you back.”

Great food, and great staff. This restaurant is a true staple to NYC as it has been in business since 1864! Always have to visit this place when I'm in New York; Saturday Brunch is worth every penny, especially the steak and eggs; the Bloody Mary's are to die for!!

Came here for the christmas decor - it definitely didn't disappoint! Food was good, but nothing special. Prices were Great!

It is an authentic place but really crowded most of the times. A after-work hangout bar for many. Staff are mostly nice. Food is not very special, portions are big.
