Service

A longtime West Village “family operation” that still “holds its own” , this “old-school” Northern Italian consistently “wows” with its “excellent homestyle” cooking and “mama-loves-you” service; the “close” , “no-frills” quarters are “always crowded” , so “definitely have a reservation.”

It was just OK. Nothing like we experienced before. It used to be a special place where the food was great and the ambiance was very warm. Now the food is average at best. The service was good, but it cannot make up for the diminished quality of food. We are sad to see this place going downhill. We will not return, but we hope the owners will turn the place around.

My husband discovered this amazing little gem in the West Village and we went for Valentine’s Day 2 years ago. Have returned several times since and never been disappointed. Cozy atmosphere with an authentic Italian feel. Obsessed with the lobster cannelloni - a must try! Also can’t go wrong with the house wine.

Great food however the sitting room is a bit tight. Service was a little slow but thats understandable since it was a very busy night. Overall a great place for quality Italian food
