Pig Bleecker
Upscale BBQ spot with Italian leanings
Barbecue · Greenwich Village · $$$
From the folks behind Pig Beach in Gowanus, including chef and Del Posto alum Matt Abdoo, this Greenwich Village spot puts its own twist on barbecue with upscale smoked meats and Italian accents. Airy yet cozy, with tall whitewashed brick walls, a rustic communal table (as well as banquettes) and an antique marble bartop, it’s also big on seasonal cocktails and punches, global wines and local beers.

Excellent vibes. Bartender made us the best cocktails and improvised on a special request for us. Pigs in doughnuts dish all the way, in addition to the burger. All heavenly! You will leave satisfied from the food, drinks and conversation. They attract a fun crowd!

Food was delicious! I was happy that they were able to accommodate my gluten free needs. I enjoyed the gluten free pasta with butternut squash. My husband's steak was amazing and was cooked perfectly to his liking. Pecan candied bacon, wings, and deviled eggs were great and full of flavor! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Chef Matt is awesome!
