Pizzeria Lola
Neapolitan-style pies with Korean flair
Pizza · Southwest Minneapolis · $
The Zagat Review
“Delicious” , “expertly crafted" pizza "brings the crowds back" to this Southwest storefront, where “inventive” pies topped with “exotic” ingredients emerge from a "gorgeous" copper-clad oven that centers the "comfortable" space; you can "expect a wait” for a table, but fans say it's "worth it" given the “fun atmosphere.”

Absolutely loved this place. I went with my cousin and we arrived just a half hour before closing time. We were treated amazingly, the staff wasnt upset of a later arrival like can happen at some places. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and for anyone who doesn't like pineapple on pizza they need to try this. The pizzas are amazing. all cooked in a brick oven. We sat at the bar and were able to see the pizzas being made and cooked. I will definitely be coming back to this place the next time I'm in Minneapolis area.

A friend introduced me to this small but spectacular restaurant. On my first visit I went with 2 other friends. We all ordered different pizzas. I had ordered the Korean BBQ Pizza and let me tell you, It was like a slice of Heaven. I was never a fan of thin crust pizza before I visited this little treasure. The place was kept clean and they have complimentary Matches on your way out with a picture of who I am assuming is the Owner Ann Kim as a child. They cook their pizzas in a wood fired oven which creates the perfect bubbles and crispiness and flavor. I am not a huge fan of pizza, Before Pizzeria Lola, I would only order from Pizza Luce and I would order the Maximus. Well Move over Maximus, There is a new flavor in town. And this Pizza Joint has reinvigorated my love for pizza. and made me think that I always loved Pizza, if it were designed right, which is exactly what they have done here. If you do not like crowds, try to avoid the busy times, as there is not enough room to breathe. They also have a cute Photo Booth to commemorate your visit. I have visited this place many times and I guarantee once you try it, you will forever be a fan.

Not your Minnesota pizza. The menu isn't afraid to take chances and you are better for it if you give it a whirl. Service is professional and friendly. Atmosphere is perfect. Highly recommended.
