A Houston import, this NoMad Indian draws from different regions of the subcontinent for its order-at-the-counter breakfasts and lunches and table-service dinners with wine. Soft lighting, tile floors and a marble bar give it an elegant air.
As someone who eats at Indian restaurants in every country and state visited, I was delighted to discover this place near my new home.
The food and flavors are spot on. Food is made to order. Amazing open space with open kitchen view. Menu is very creative and eclectic. You will find something for you no matter how picky you are with flavor spices and textures and diet.
Perfect for a date night and family dinners. Have not had a chance to visit for lunch or breakfast!
Eggplant steak was amazing. Whisky sour drink with tamarind was superb.
If you're looking for traditional, colonial slop and mop Indian soul food, this may not scratch the itch. If you're seeing a culinary experience that delights not only your taste buds, but your intellect as well, then Chef Anita is who you want to meet and eat with :)

Lovely place for an Indian meal. Nicely designed space with Indian and modern touches. Fast service. Ordered a delicious Lamb Rajasthani; would have liked more rice to accompany the sauce. The Bake Lab is a fun treat for exploring familiar baked goods ranging from cookies to cakes with an Indian flavor profile!

Great food, open early. Tasty and healthy take on India food with many vegetarian options. Fresh flavors and excellent service in large and comfortable space.
