Privado
Hidden haunt for tasting menus & drinks
$$$$
Guests are led to the back of a seemingly closed restaurant for an intimate dining experience by chef Mike Randolph (Half & Half, Público) in The Loop with a changing menu that only hints at what will be served over many courses. The kitchen with a wood-fired oven dominates the cozy space with two communal tables. P.S. Friday and Saturday evenings only; tickets can be purchased online.

Had one of the most incredible meals of my life here - 15 course exploratory tasting menu. If you can get a ticket (plan weeks early), do yourself a favor and grab it! This dinner was truly an experience and worth every penny... the beverage pairing was perfect as well. I plan to do this again - the menu is never the same, so I am looking forward to the next time I am able to embark on such a remarkable taste journey!

Really great meal on 12/23/17. A definite "foodie" destination if you enjoy comfortable atmosphere and haute cuisine. Very good wine pairings with dinner and the glasses stayed quite full all night, thanks to the diligent staff. For the $100 meal plus $80 pairing, was very much worth the value. Outside of St Louis, the same meal would go for $150-200 at least per person. Quite the special treat of a meal and to top it off, a nice "gift bag" with a to go small bite desert and printed copy of both wine and food menu. Privado will be a strong contender for best restaurant in St. Louis in the coming year for exceptional service, atmosphere and quality of dishes.

Sad that Randolphi's closed. It was an awesome Italian restaurant. Hope the owner is successful in his new endeavor. Will miss the old place...
