Quality Meats
Steakhouse with butcher-shop feel
Steakhouse · South Beach · $$$
The NYC chophouse staple unveils its first outpost at the Bancroft hotel in South Beach, with chef Patrick Rebholz (ex Peninsula Grill, Charleston) at the helm presenting shellfish plateaus, suckling pig and tuna au poivre, plus simply prepared steaks and classic sides and a creative cocktail list. The space, reimagined by design avatars AvroKO, retains its art deco feel and features a check-in counter repurposed as a butcher counter, serving house-smoked and -cured meats.

A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Attended a work dinner with my wife. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The bacon, apple, peanut butter appetizer was out of this world ! Steak, seafood, and chicken all were well prepared and seasoned. The Decor was engaging and warm.

We were 2 adults and 2 kids and had an amazing experience. The chefs complimentary watermelon and bread are out of this world! We all got filets and ordered the crispy potatoes to share as well as the asparagus and those were also perfectly prepared. 5 stars all around! From the ambiance to the service to the preparation and temperature of the meats. We will for sure be back when in Miami again.

Having visited NYC quality meats where we had a great experience, we decided to check out the one in Miami. There’s something missing about this place - our waiter was totally disinterested and the food is below average for the price you pay - would I visit here again? Afraid not.
