A “steakhouse for the modern era” , this “energetic” Midtowner “proves itself” with “really solid” beef plus more “offbeat” sides and apps served in “hipper than average” surroundings ( “no mahogany here” ); “high” prices are a given, but you do “pay for quality.”

We had a great dining experience at quality meats and Michael did a fantastic job making us feel good. Our Butcher's Cut Rib Eye for two came first well done although we ordered medium rare. Right away it was taken back and on the second try it came rare. We didn't say anything but Michael saw the mistake ad took care of it. On the third time a perfect steak came to our table. Although those mistakes happen the way the server and manager handled the situation was perfect. A bottle of wine was competed and a complimentary dessert provided.

We had a wonderful meal at Quality Meats. This is a loud, high-energy restaurant but despite that we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The bacon peanut butter jalapeno appetizer was delicious. The wine list is extensive and cocktails were wonderful. Our steaks more flavorful and tender and the vegetables were every bit as wonderful as the steak! We highly recommend the parmesean waffle fries and grilled asparagus.

Went here for my buddy PJ’s birthday, with a group of 9. We had to wait a bit for our reserved table to be ready (20 extra minutes), which was no problem, gave me time for an old fashioned (“inverted”, whatever) just made me hungrier for meat stuffs. Which, by the way, hit the spot with it’s deliciousness! The bacon appetizer was awesome. My gigantic rib eye was terrific. And the ice cream dessert was wonderful.
