Hurricane Alley
Charcuterie & cheese plates in hip space
Bistro · Queen Village · $$
The creators of South Street staple Copabanana venture next door with this contemporary American wine bar offering a selection of 24 inexpensive wines by the glass (in three- and five-ounce pours), buttressed by eight beers on tap, cheese, charcuterie and sandwiches. The low-key, casual space has subdued lighting, a pressed tin ceiling and an eye-catching Cruvinet wine system on display.

Stopped by here while in the area for a quick drink and was shocked at how everything about this place was low effort. They don't have any beers on tap so you are stuck with bottled selections. Our bartender was just flat out rude to me. Won't be coming back.

More upscale experience version of Copa next door. Has the amazing Philly bartender Richie!

Chef Jean has amazing food. The gumbo is savory with great flavor. Dwayne is a consummate bartender with great personality and extra attentive. I love this place.
