Chic seasonal eatery with Sunday supper
American · $$
From chef John Fleer, this Downtown New American on Pack Square highlights seasonal, locally sourced ingredients on its regular menu and weekly Sunday suppers where guests sit at communal tables and pass family-style plates. An open kitchen adds an intimate vibe to the industrial, stylish surrounds featuring distressed walls and wooden accents.

Favourite spot for a true evolved Southern dining experience. The head chef is brilliant and has cultivated a sweet, rewarding dining experience. You can tell the staff is close, adding to that feeling of Southern charm. Food always blows me away with how thoughtfully crafted it is. Best kept secret is their bar though!

This is the best restaurant in NC, and probably the South. French plus Southern cooking is amazing and when you add the local foods and Asheville twist it truly is one of a kind. Highly recommend!

Rhubarb has been both the source of some of the best things I’ve eaten in Asheville and some of the biggest disappointments. It’s almost like two people are running the kitchen, one who way over salted my wife’s fish dish and then the other who prepared the amazing vegetable platter. If they could master consistency, this otherwise beautiful restaurant with great service could really be something special.
