Roaming Buffalo Bar-B-Que
Down-home, cowboy-inspired BBQ eats
Barbecue · Rosedale · $
Craft barbecue gets a proud (but not pricey) local twist at this Harvard Gulch hideaway, where chef-owner Coy Webb showers the same TLC he shows brisket and pulled pork on bison, lamb and Southwestern sides (some spiked with green chiles) that you order at the counter; the regional motif extends even to the decor of the tiny, laid-back smokehouse, with a state flag gracing the bright turquoise walls, and picnic tables made with beetle-kill pine.

Hole in the wall off of Evans gives a decent selection of food while maintaining a laid back spot for decent eats. Decent is unfortunately the best I can share... For now. I intend to come back and give their venison sausage a go.. 4 stars because aside from my personal preference this place is delightful, well maintained, clean, with amazing service. Thanks for lunch.

The food was really good, I really liked the pork ribs. The seasoning and sauce on the ribs was awesome. I kind of wanted more of a southern style type Mac and cheese though, but it was good all the same. I highly recommend this place.

The meat is tender enough to cut with a fork. It was my first time eating Bison and I was pleasantly surprised. The sauces are tasty. The spicy & hot are definitely not for the faint of heart. The Strawberry Jalapeno jam is a must-try for your cornbread. And do not deny yourself, the Caramelized Banana Pudding! The staff is great too. But come early, because they can sell out of some of the best stuff.
