Its seasonally attuned Italian menu “changes every day, but the quality doesn't” at this “hip” , snug (and now tip-free) Fort Greene sibling of Marlow & Sons that's a “memorable” blend of culinary “passion” and “neighborhoody” vibes; no reservations means waits are “standard” , providing time to size up the bar's “talented mixologists.”

Roman's features a daily-changing menu that highlights fresh, local ingredients in italian-leaning dishes occasionally underpinned by classical french techniques. One if the most impressive meals I've had in a while just based on the technical execution of a difficult menu with the added challenge of changing it daily! To complement the meal is a variety of Italian aperitivi and a great wine selection. I tried an orange wine for the first time and was in awe. Service is great - they got us in an out for our show at BAM in about an hour - and gratuity is included. Will go back for the $75 chef's tasting menu when we have a bit more time.

Great food, very good service, nice place. Will definitely go there again. Even if the portions are rather small.

Always great. Year after year. One of the city's unique restaurants. Great cocktails, food is always rotating, menu changes within a few minutes at times. We had a ribollita a few weeks ago, the best we ever had, no meat but was meaty tasting and filling, flavors were so concentrated and balanced.
