Neat diner atmosphere and my sandwich and beer were really good. Really disappointed by the roasted cauliflower soup though. The actual soup didn't have much flavor (or an odd flavor? I eat a lot of cauliflower and would have preferred plain cauliflower flavor even) and the capers and things on top of the soup were a little strange to suddenly chew into while eating. I love that the profits go to treating people in need with dignity (serving real restaurant quality food with servers), so I would give them another try for sure.

Such a neat little place. You walk down some steps to get in and you get lightening fast service if you sit at the bar. They have such delicious brunch and breakfast food in normal sized portions (not crazy portions like you find other places). You definitely have to try their sausage! They also have amazing baked goods if you need a treat.

Moving to Philadelphia I immediately noticed the huge homeless population. Sadly i can't help everybody but by eating at the Rooster Company youre helping homeless get free meals. Not only is their mission wonderful but their food is amazing too. The service is always amazing. I am greeted with smiles and everybody seems to be happy with their job. They have daily lunch specials, beers that I've never heard of and many desserts. It's a great hole in the wall spot to meet for lunch!
