Fans “can’t get enough” of this “cute” East Villager’s “incredible fried chicken” and other “OMG” - “delicious” Southern comfort classics; “excellent” cocktails help fuel the “fun” , “cool” scene, though the “tiny” , “tight” space fills up fast, especially at brunch ( “a must” ).

A friend took me here for a pass birthday celebration and well the food was so freaking salty. I had to drink like 5 cups of water just to finish everything. I went back a few months after and the food was fine that time. I don't know what happened the first time, maybe there was a different cook. Glad i gave it a second chance because the food was great. Staff there are excellent as well.

Amazing AMAZING food. Gourmet southern cuisine. Tight space, so would def recommend booking a reservation instead of walking in. The service is great, as well. Hard to recommend food, because the menu changes seasonally. But the chicken biscuits are a wonderful staple. If you snag a seat a the kitchen bar, get ready for some great conversation! I try and make it by at least once a season. I'm from the south and have a lot of southern visitors. They're usually skeptical when I tell them we're going to a southern restaurant, but they ALWAYS leave saying it's the best southern food they've ever had.

Had heard good things about this place, but it missed my expectations. Had the half chicken with the waffles add on, and one of the reasons. Tea was sweet and good. Chicken and waffles looked great, but lacked strong taste. The texture was good for both. Chicken was crispy, waffles fluffy. But the chicken meat itself wasn't salty enough, the waffles didn't have enough flavor or cheese either, and even adding large amounts of the maple or chili syrup didn't help.
