The atmosphere and decor is very accurate to a so-cal Mexican cuisine restaurant. A bit weird how my father grouper entree came out first before any of our tables entrees were ready. Was about a time between 10-15 minutes. My entree was very good had a no carb cauliflower 'rice' entree the taste was savory, well seasoned and had good texture the plating was great. Overall experience was a very welcoming staff, attentive server, and great music choice at the bar.

First time here. Nice decor. Food was pretty good although our basket of chips were 75% crumbs. When we asked for more our waiter, who was in training, said sure but never came back with any more. Took forever to get our check. When we got up to leave, I noticed food in the cracks on the sides of my chair. Eww. May or may not be back.

We'd been talking about trying this place for a while--glad we finally made it there. Visited on a Saturday evening and got a table outside right away. The patio is one of the best I've seen in STL. Huge and with all the heaters it is comfortable year round. Right after being seated we got up to talk to a friend and our waiter (Lee) got salsa, chips, and waters on the table. He kept an eye on when we got back so he could take order. The margaritas were good--she ordered the champagne one and loved it. The house was a little too sweet, but not complaining about it. I got the street tacos with their BBQ-like meat and it was great. She loved the grouper and rice dish as well. We stayed for some more drinks and Lee even let us move to another table near the outdoor fireplace. If looking for date night, happy hour, or a different Mexican destination--this is it. We'll be going back I'm sure.
