An enduring Park Slope “favorite” , this “charming” New American offers a “beautiful representation of the seasons” via “excellent” locavore fare, including a “delicious” brunch; the “tight” environs are “worth squeezing into” , and there’s a “gorgeous” patio in the summertime.

Perhaps it was a mismatch between expectations and product. Where I was hoping for comfort food, I got something that just tasted too "healthy." As a result the dishes don't quite come together. For example, the fritata felt like eggs embedded with lots of crunchy vegetables. Certainly it gave you the sense that you could taste the freshness but the ingredients were combined but not integrated.

Best pancakes I've ever had. Cozy, nice atmosphere, good service.

A bit expensive for what it is, but a generally excellent place. Food is much more on the healthy organic side than "comfort food" might suggest. For brunch the wait can be a while. Small place with crowded seating.
