“Delicious yet light” Italian dishes are sourced “straight from the rooftop garden” at this “energetic” , all-day West Village trattoria with a “sunny” , “rustic” dining room; a no-reservations policy (for fewer than eight) makes it “difficult to get a table” and the big “bar scene” pumps out “loud” decibels, so insiders say it’s best “mid-afternoon.”

Terrific ambience, especially in the summer when it is open to the Jefferson Market Garden across the street. The menu is limited, but it changes often. Service is friendly and efficient. A good wine list fairly priced with a few exceptions. Interesting house cocktails worth a try. It even has a rooftop garden, you can visit.

We went to celebrate a friends birthday and arrived for a very early dinner and were one of only a few patrons in the restaurant. We were quickly seated and immediately after receiving the menus we were asked what we would like to drink. We informed him we would need a minute. Only a couple more minutes past and we were each still deciding what we wanted because we thought they had a lot of nice options and when we informed the waiter we would need a couple more minutes he got quite upset with us. After that it was problematic. It was at least 10 minutes until he returned and then someone else brought our drinks so we couldn't tell him our food order. We then waited 20 minutes and eventually told another staff member we were ready to order; however, another ten minutes went by and when a member of our party caught his attention to inform him we were ready to order he told us to hold on. We then waited another few minutes while he cleaned wine glasses in the corner. When he finally arrived he asked, "ahh so you are finally ready?" very snarky. We then ordered both our appetizer and our meal since we were fairly certain we wouldn't see him again, which was accurate. The rest of the evening other staff assisted us. The food was decent, but definitely not worth the experience.

Perfect brunch place. They don't have bottomless brunch options, but the food is great. Drinks are expensive just as any other New York City bar. Quantity is not too much or too less. It might have a wait on weekends so plan accordingly. It also gets loud during brunch.
