The Zagat Review
This “excellent” American cafe mini-chain has nailed a “winning formula” : “gigantic portions” of “rich, NOLA-type breakfast foods” , “bottomless coffee” and “killer” cocktails all served in a homey setting; it’s no wonder there are sometimes “waits” for the “moderately priced” eats – fortunately, “quick” , “conscientious” servers ease the pain, and help make it “the place to go for breakfast after a night out.”

White woman of larger size (manager) was ridiculous & rude. My table spent $230.00 which included tip great meal, great waitress, great atmosphere. If someone that isn’t being rude simply wants to understand and is genuinely curious & intrigued that Biscuits & Gravy isn’t on the menu answer the question without clearly showing that your sex life is terrible and you need to take it out on the world. That mam is your own fault & a problem you should have addressed long ago. She should be working on a computer somewhere away from people, not asking people how there meal is. I’ve grown up in restaurants family, owned I’ve helped start and run many. everything else was great 👍.

Great food. Had the corned beef bennie. Terrific. Atmosphere was great. Definitely a busy place, with a wait, but well worth it. Prices are reasonable. Didn't have any brunch cocktails, but watching the bartender make them....they look good.

We were visiting from out of town, and told this was the place to go. The first day we went here for breakfast, we signed up with the NoWait app and only had to wait a few minutes in line despite there being a huge crowd. I ordered the plain pancakes (comes with bacon), a scrambled egg, and a Peach Bellini. My friend ordered the bbq shrimp and grits and the Irish Coffee (hot). We both really enjoyed our cocktails and our food. Our waitress was very sweet. When we went back two days later, the fat girl who works here was pretty rude, nothing like the first waitress. She gave me french toast when I ordered pancakes. When I told her that she gave me the wrong order, she told me "you ordered french toast" when i knew that I hadn't, and my friend that was with me knew that I hadn't. Also, my friend said her water tasted funny, and when we looked at the bottom there was something black that looked like either coffee or chocolate Overall, the food was good. I will come back to this location again, and hope that I don't get the same waitress I got the second time.
