Nestled in a "quaint" Mid-City shotgun cottage, this "intimate" refuge draws foodies with chef-owner Ray Gruezke's "phenomenal" locavore New American fare served in "unusual presentations" ( "deep-fried cupcakes" , anyone?); although it's "excellent in all categories" , diners warn that "parking can be challenging."

The food was good, service was ok. And everything was good until we went to leave. My husband asked Bree if she could take our picture, she sighed and said if it was any other night, she was just too busy! WHAT!? There were 5 tables with 2 people ( this includes me and my husband) at each and two tables with 4 people, REALLY!? Maybe the Chef used to work at Commanders Palace but they sure don’t treat their customers like Commanders Palace does! I won’t be going back! If I could give zero stars that’s what I’d give.

Everything was so delicious but the deep fried cupcakes were amazing!! One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back

Loved this place. Will definitely come back. Japanese/Chinese food with a New Orleans twist. As a local I would put this place in my top 10. I would recommend making a reservation bc the place is quite small.
