Sabatino's Italian Restaurant
Old-fashioned institution for classics

The Zagat Review
Everything from the ‘Bookmaker' salads to the "homemade" pastas is "generously" heaped up in a way that's "more grandmother's kitchen than posh" at this eminently "reliable" "red-sauce" "landmark" in Little Italy; a staff with "personality" , plus friendly tabs and an "old-fashioned" setting, make diners "feel like family" , and late hours are nice too.

One of the old lady's of Little Italy. Great food and solid service. If you want a taste of old school Little Italy you can't go wrong here. Not a 5 star because it is looking a little shabby and could use a little freshening up. The the prices are reasonable and food is great so I will continue to patronize them.

Sabatino's is a classy restaurant institution with great history in Baltimore's Little Italy. It is a must if you're searching for your new favorite Italian restaurant in Little Italy. Aesthetic Appeal & Atmosphere: The atmosphere is warm and cozy and gives off the feel that you just walked into your grandparents home for a fine and authentic Italian meal. Some things could use a little updating but the owners may like it just as is. Service: Service was on point and was efficient. Our waitress could have been a little more friendly. Meal Quality: It's like grandma's home cooked Italian meals made from wonderful recipes passed on through the generations that are time tested and approved. Their sauces are delicious! We ordered their Veal a la beppi and their Gnocchi and both were fantastic. Aesthetic Appeal & Atmosphere: 4 of 5 Service: 4 of 5 Meal & Drinks Quality: 5 of 5

OK wasn't impressed with the store-bought bread should've been homemade Italian bread. The salad was generic the dressing needed work because it was grainy. We got ravioli off the kids menu for my daughter and had the option of sauce on the side or sauce on it so we chose sauce on it but they put way too much sauce, it was drowning. The scampi was OK it could use a little more flavor. I liked how the garlic bread was made except for the red pepper flakes. Veal Florentine was good white sauce could have used a little bit more seasoning and maybe a little too much spinach underneath. The clams casino was good but it had an Italian twist to it.The tiramisu was good but my wife still makes it better. The cannoli filling should've been thicker, it was too fluffy and it needed more flavor. The overall dining experience was great the Wait staff was very polite and friendly. I was just expecting a little bit more out of a HomeTown Italian restaurant in the heart of Little Italy .The wine was top notch.
