Just off Times Square, these “hole-in-the-wall” izakayas “fill up fast” with folks unwinding over “down-home” Japanese bar food and “plenty of booze on the cheap” – so get there soon after work or prepare to wait; there’s “no decor” to speak of, but the crowd “lends atmosphere.”

The host was very nice and accommodated our party 7 in 10 minutes. The waitress was attentive and recommended the 1600ml bottle for our group (Good unit price!). The appetizer menu is large, perfect for sharing with friends and they kept our water full to stay hydrated. Good price, good people, good food and good sake.

Well done Japanese. They have a long narrow restaurant with about 10 seat bar. They offer a wide range of fare. They also have massive beers that some were ordering.

Very typical Japanese fried and grilled small foods place with cheap Japanese beer. Its adequate. Nothing special, and nothing wrong. The crowd here is mostly chinese, though. The staff seem to be Japanese.
