A "convivial after-work" "hangout" in the heart of SoMa, this "popular" sibling of Town Hall offers a mostly "well-done" American menu highlighted by a "delicious poutine" ; too bad that the "electric atmosphere" makes it "hard to have a conversation" across tables that are "way too close together" , but at least the staff strives to be "attentive."

Last restaurant before heading back to Europe, I’ve eaten in 5 states and numerous cities this trip, and this was the best! I’ve read some reviews here and my head hurts. People know very little about goo food. Our server Dill knew very well what he was offering and how to match everything. Management came bye to check in, which is always appreciated (timing is everything). Prices are very fair considering the combinations of flavors on a single plate. Americans are too accustomed to crazy big plates that they don’t even finish (For disclosure, I’m born and raised in Chicago), then they complain when it’s “too small” even though they actually go home not feeling bloated from over-eating. This place deserved a visit from Michelin. Thank you to everyone at this amazing place for your hard work and talent. These people love what they do. Very grateful. Until next time (hopefully not very long!).

I liked this place. My son ordered steak tartar. He liked but was not crazy about the Asian vibe. I on the other hand loved Asian sauce, I though it was a very interesting take on a steak tartar. His burger was good but medium done even though he asked for medium rare. I got cheese plate as an appetizer - it was good but not extraordinary, candied walnuts were a nice touch. My pasta with mushrooms Pappardelle however was absolutely amazing. I have to say that is very crowded, it is hard to navigate between tables without bothering other patrons. They crammed as many tables into the space as possible without thinking about comfort. Overall it was a nice experience, I would visit it again.

Great place for drinks. Didn’t order anything’s to eat. Just very hard to hear each other when crowded. I had a great cocktail and a local beer. Friendly staff, good crowd, very social... but just as I said, too noisy and we took the party somewhere else for dinner.
