A "convivial after-work" "hangout" in the heart of SoMa, this "popular" sibling of Town Hall offers a mostly "well-done" American menu highlighted by a "delicious poutine" ; too bad that the "electric atmosphere" makes it "hard to have a conversation" across tables that are "way too close together" , but at least the staff strives to be "attentive."

I had a great experience here. Service was on point and always one step ahead of me. Food was expertly crafted and flavorful. The dining area can get really loud but it's jovial and inviting. You get the impression people feel relaxed amongst all the noise. I had the beef duo and jalapeno cornbread, which were both excellent. Tender meat and robust, sharp flavors

This was a solid dinner and I would definitely go again. Most of the dishes were about $30, except for a large, 60 day aged ribeye ($67). Our waiter suggested it would be a good one to share so my wife and I went for it as our main entree. The rest of the items we ordered were great, but our steak, which we ordered medium rare, was medium well at best. We couldn't taste anything special about it. The waiter finally came by after quite a while and asked how it was. I never send anything back but was very disappointed with the steak and brought up how overcooked it was. He immediately offered a new one and we took him up on it. It was a bit of a wait and I felt a bit guilty since we had eaten at least half the other steak, but I'm so glad we did. The second steak was a bit on the rare side, but it was an amazing steak. I've never had a dry age steak with that much flavor (and a bit of funk at times). So, in the end it was a wonderful experience and we loved the steak.

Inventive menu, well executed. Fresh ingredients creatively prepared. Great urban-contemporary atmosphere. Helpful waitstaff.
