“Dieters beware” : the corned beef, pastrami and other “outstanding” sandwiches are “enormous” “enough for two people” at this “cozy” Downtown takeout, maybe the “closest thing Boston has to a New York deli” ; open for weekday lunches only, it’s “always packed” , so consider ordering ahead for pickup.

Bang for your buck. I would highly recommend this place. It may seem pricey but definitely worth it because it can provide two meals for the price of one. unless you're like me and just want it all for one meal. you'll leave feeling properly satisfied

Best Pastrami in Boston. The restaurant has been around for years and it maintains its famous reputation for delicious sandwiches. The sandwich are around $13 but it is totally worth it. Staff are very nice and helpful. The restaurant is always busy during lunch time but the service is fast.

The sandwiches at this place rocks!! The french fries are really good as well! Foods very fresh, very quick to prepare and the staff are really friendly. I go to Sam's about 2 times a month. I would love to go everyday but how often can you eat absolutely delicious pastrami, roast beef etc etc... I definitely recommend this place! It's so good! If you can avoid going between 12 and 1:30 it's better. There isn't all that much seating. Sometimes you have to wait. People are pretty good about not sitting around at the tables when they're done eating. They understand that there are other people waiting to sit down. They usually finish up and get out pretty quick. Kind of refreshing.
