"Exceptionally well-prepared and well-presented" American cuisine that is "eclectic, inventive and beautiful" is brought to you by "knowledgeable" servers at this "delightful" upscale Downtown Minneapolis landmark; the "cozy" space within the "beautiful building" makes it ideal for "special romantic occasions" or a "fabulous pre-theater experience."

Amazing from the moment we walked in. Incredible food and drinks. Your mouth will thank you for eating here. Top notch food. The warm mulled wine they make and serve is SO GOOD!!! Service is great, good is all fresh.i HIGHLY recommend. And that fresh key lime "pie" dessert with super fresh fruit and sorbet... again AMAZING.

This restaurant handled everything well from the reservation to spot on service. Super cozy and just the right size. Our server (Chloe) was most knowledgeable and could accommodate our dining/food restrictions with her well versed menu knowledge. You could tell people like working there and that just adds to the dining experience. Honestly haven’t had that or felt good service/food combination for awhile and I will being returning to Sanctuary. Skol 🍷

If you're traveling for work or dine solo (as I often do!), my advice is to order your food here in courses and expect to be rushed. Being rushed as a solo diner and not extended the same level of service as a group is unfortunately common. The food was fine (midwestern, but good), but I was "forced" to have my main before my salad because they arrived at the table at the same time - and one was warm. Also, as a single patron, I was not offered the tasting menu (which I heard offered to neighboring tables, but detailed on the menu), and the dessert menu was placed on the table while I was still enjoying my dinner. I LOVE dining on my own, but Sanctuary made the experience feel uncomfortable. I'll try another place the next time I'm in town.
