“Premium fast food” is the draw at this “widely syndicated” Danny Meyer chain, offering “mouthwatering” burgers, “rich shakes” and other “upgraded” eats (plus beer and wine) at a “manageable price” ; they’re “a magnet” for “legions of fans” who can create “hectic scenes” and “insane lines” , especially at the “landmark” Madison Square Park shack “where it all started.”

Typical Shake Shack food... burgers are pricey, the shack sauce makes it well worth it. French fries are crisped to perfection. And the specialty shakes are really good. Regular shakes are good too but nothing to write home about. This location has a lot of seating, and my party of three was able to easily find a table on a Friday night, which is not too common for Shake Shacks in NYC!

Who doesn’t love shake shack? And this location is one of the best. Great décor, great service, rarely too crowded, except on a particularly touristy day. If you’re a tourist, in the neighborhood for a view of the Brooklyn Bridge, and the New York city harbor, this is one of the best versions of an American Burger you will find. Shake Shack will not disappoint. If you work in DUMBO, one burger won’t kill you.

Located right at the amazing Brooklyn bridge park, this location actually has a bit more seating than I've noticed at other new York locations. Other than this this is your typical shake shack. The ordering and pickup counters are the same as is the food. They ran out of ketcup in the dispenser when I was there but it happens. Still a great place. Not too far from subway stops either.
