If you think Jewish-Japanese food is a “strange concept” , the “exciting” “marriage of cuisines” at this cozy South Williamsburg standout may “change your mind” ; converts advise: reserve ahead, check out the chalkboard menu and “splurge” a little.

Funky Jewish/Japanese fusion. Great setting. Small plates at small tables. Cozy eclectic food and eclectic drinks as well. Definitely not kosher.

What a unique place! Everything was delicious. The drinks were weird but fitted the theme

Exceptionally pleasant and attentive service. Yet, the food was even better. Matzoh Ball (Ramen) like my grandmother used to make, if only she was born in Japan. Definitely get the Challah.
