First of all they donated a gift card to our local school... Lemon Ave.... thank you. Second.... Very fresh and well prepared food. Ordered the breakfast bowl (forgot exact name) and it was fantastic and came with a very impressive salsa (flavor and heat). Wife got the toast... also fantastic in terms of taste and freshness. Great patio, great people . This a a La Mesa Gem. Will definitely come again.

Excellent! It's a small place with a small menu and daily specials. We had the chicken ceasar panini. I have to say it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! The prices are very reasonable. I look forward to eating here again the next time we are in the peaceful city of La Mesa.

AN OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE! It started with a friendly smile and then Beth made us two "knocked out of the ballpark" lattes. My wife and I were sitting at a table under a gas heater on the huge patio thinking how lucky were we to find a coffee place in La Mesa that could make lattes this good. And then this guy comes over to our table and introduces himself as Aaron the owner and we have a nice chat for a while.Next minute he convinced us to try some lunch and he wanted us to try his own selection from the menu which he created...and we said sure.Aaron leaves and a few minutes later 2 plates of delicious looking creations arrive at our table. We split our meals because both looked so good ...and they tasted way better than good.We were amazed that such creative and delicious food could even be available in a cafe ..this was upscale restaurant fare.Aaron came back again with his manager Luke and we all had a good chin wag. This cafe has a full kitchen and can prepare just about anything under the sun. There is a great choice of craft beers and premium wines...and they do mimosas too.The pastry selection in the display case inside looked outstanding and I read the paninis are great..My wife and I finally left thinking what a wonderful time we had here. This would be without a doubt one of the top 5 cafes in San Diego. We can't wait to come over again from Solana Beach.....it will be worth the drive.
