Service

"From noodle dishes to tempura" , this Metairie stalwart has a big menu with all the "tried-and-true" staples of Japanese cuisine, including some of "the best" sushi around, plus a full bar; the spacious digs are fairly basic, but the staff is "amazing" , especially the chefs "entertaining at the hibachi grills" , and thrifty types note "your wallet will be happy."

I am not a sushi eater but others in my party were. They said their food was delicious. I had edamame and two different salads. The broccoli salad was just broccoli with a dressing. It was good. I really did enjoy the cabbage salad, though. It's a good place for us because they do have a few healthy options.

Very good sushi. Great portion size. A friendly place to eat. Came out rather quickly as well. I'll definitely go back.

Whenever my husband and I are in the mood for some sushi, this is the place we go to. Hands down, this is the best sushi restaurant we have ever eaten at and we've visited a ton in several states. Wu is usually our server. She is warm, friendly and loves serving her customers. We love the ambience of this place. My favorite rolls if you want to try them, are the Steve roll and the BBQ Eel roll. My husband can't get enough of the Eel Unaju Dinner (yeah, we are eel lovers). Just typing this, I am getting hungry for some Shogun!!
