"Breathtaking" river views accompany "delicious" New England seafood with a South American twist from Ecuadorean-born chef Edgar Cobena at this "always busy" "gem" in Downtown Mystic bolstered by "enthusiastic" service; the nautical-style digs boast a "lovely atmosphere" , but on "warm-weather days" the "premium seating is outside" on the stone patio "surrounded by a beautiful garden" where there's often a "bit of a wait" and, "whoa, do you pay for the location."

One of the best restaurants that I've ever been. The plates were very flavorful, rich and delicious. The staff was really attentive and it didn't take long for the food to came out.. I'm definitely coming back. The 1h and half drive was really worthy. Simply amazing

Great spot in a beautiful & quaint town. The views are spectacular. The food is good, a bit costly, they make a good -albeit small- Bloody Mary. All in all, we always return. Oh, the seating outside, although cramped, is great in perfect weather. I strongly recommend it.

S&P is by far the best restaurant in Mystic. It is always clean and warm inside. The staff is always helpful and responsive. They have this incredible view of the drawbridge that is amazing during the warmer months. Their menu is perfect, but don't hesitate trying one of the chefs daily specials. I have never been disappointed with any of the specials. And save room for the bread pudding. I have gone there with my wife just for drinks and bread pudding.
