Probably the only place to get Southeast Asian "street food" in the meatpacking district, Spice Market is a bustling place with beautiful decor and a setting that strives to be as authentic as a cultural experience as possible.
I took my father out for a Father's day meal and we started out with the Shrimp dumplings which were delicious. I savored the Char grilled chicken with my all time favorite Thai specialty which is sticky rice. We topped off the meal with some kind of Banana and chocolate dessert peppered with caramel popcorn, the combination was interesting to say the least.
I found the service to be quite good, but the prices not so much, so prepare to bring a wad of cash to this establishment.

Spice Market incorporates amazing flavors from all around the world. Almost everything on the list taste delicious and fresh.
On my most recent visit I ordered the Steam Lobster with Coconut Sticky Rice. The lobster was amazing along with the sweet rice on the side.
Try several different appetizers or a few of the main meals. Everything comes out in small plates and various different times.
CONS: The service was pretty slow at opening dinner time. Several waiters helped us over the course of a few minutes. Hopefully this was just a one off. The ambiance and the mood was great with the summer breeze blowing through.
