Worth the “trek" , this Woodside “holy grail of Thai food” (with a Williamsburg branch) offers an “enormous choice” of “memorable” dishes at varied heat levels ( “make sure you really mean it if you ask for ‘very spicy’” ); although cash-only with “perfunctory” service and decor, it's affordable and “out-of-this-world.”

Crab fried rice was good, nothing special. Menu is also way too huge; it’s better to master in a few dishes than to do mediocre on a bunch. Servers weren’t very attentive. Plates on table were dirty so we had them switched. Waiters demand tip. Drinks were okay. Food came out super fast, too fast, probably wasn’t fresh. When my date and I first got there (mind you we are black), we asked for a table in the back by the nicer decor and they told us “sorry but those seats are reserved” so we had to sit right in the front by the door which was very cold. The seats were hard and there was no back cushion for the so called booth. Over an hour passes as we’re dining and the restaurant is still practically empty and of course the so called reserved seating was never full, and that party never showed up. Please treat black people better. We are paying customers too. There are way better Thai establishments that treat us with respect.

This is the branch they have in Brooklyn. More upmarket than the one in Queens. Food is good. Service is good. Very good decor. The main plus point is that they accept credit card here while the one in Queens is cash only. Personally, I find the food in Queens better as well as the Thai Ice Coffee.

Was there for a friend's birthday party and it was good. The space is very open, service was good and the food was delicious.
