The chicken was actually really good, but this place is beyond over priced. We ordered a couple blue plate specials and a bunch of sides to split. We liked the biscuits but they actually charge you extra for butter, and for honey. That's just mean. The fried green tomatoes were decent. The red beans and rice were good (though a touch spicy so my mil couldn't eat them), and the greens were good, but they forgot to bring both sides with the rest of the food. By the time we got them, we were full and had to just package them to go. It was an interesting place to try but we won't go back.

Now I love a good fried chicken as much as the next guy and this place didn't disappoint. Chicken was fried to perfection. Crispy on the outside and juicy from the inside. Chicken was flavored with herbs and spices and cayenne. Waffles were great as well and so was the potato salad. But nothing can measure up to the fried chicken. Would definitely visit again.

Tonight My pick up order of chicken was so raw that it was translucent. I called the restaurant and told them that I would be returning my entire order so they could remake it(all the hot stuff) I didn’t think it was fair for me to have to reheat the mac & cheese and chicken skins but I figured that the potato salad should be fine. I picked up my new order with not really any meaningful apologies (possibly a offer for a free dessert considering I just wasted a half an hour in the car going back and forth and parking is not exactly easy). Instead I get back to my car and realize they forgot to give me the new chicken skins (I also returned ) then if my experience couldn’t have gotten any worse, I get home and the chicken Was over done it was like beef jerky and skin was edible. I guess they were trying to spite me , like somehow it was my fault they undercut the chicken. That was my third time going to that restaurant and up to that’ll point I loved the place but after an experience like this I will never be back!! Good luck
