Sunday in Brooklyn is what every brunch spot aspires to be. It has it all: beautiful, cozy atmosphere, unbearably hip waitstaff, interesting cocktails, and absolutely phenomenal food. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I’ve ever had, the breakfast staples (eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, even the avocado) were perfectly executed, and the malted pancakes... sweet Jesus, those pancakes will bring you to your knees. If the wait weren’t so terrible, this would be my go-to brunch spot every weekend. Fortunately, we snagged seats at the bar immediately when we went around 1pm on a Sunday.

How often can you say: I’ve never had anything like that before and it was delicious! I said that about three different dishes in a single evening. Not pretentious, patient with special dietary needs. Great atmosphere.

Amazing, well worth waking up for at 9:40 am. Definitely do not come here without a reservation! The malted pancakes tasted like someone melted a Kinder Bueno onto a stack of the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. Highly recommend.
