With decor reminiscent of a "shiny" "Parisian" brasserie and "large glass windows" overlooking St. Charles Avenue, this "huge, bustling" Uptown sibling of Superior Grill offers a "beautifully appointed" setting for slurping raw oysters ( "sit by the shuckers" at the bar) and savoring "authentic" , seafood-centric Creole fare; "noisy" and "fun" , it's an "enjoyable" place to visit "with a big group of people" and "watch a Mardi Gras parade."

Just had give this place 5 stars absolutely great. Ours sons took us here for our anniversary of 33 years, not knowing reservation get you seated quickly, so we had to wait hour in 45 minutes, it was well worth the wait. We arrive about 30 minutes early sat at the bar the Joe was so nice and very attentive his recommendations was on point Everything was Delicious. Will come and visit again. Oh the carrot cake is to die for or as my son said " the cook put her foot in it " 😁 Again this is the place to go.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city - and that says a lot for New Orleans. This is one of the places I take friends and family whenever they come to town. Check out the stuffed mushrooms, the best shrimp and grits I've found outside of Charleston, a fantastic Sunday brunch, and several frozen drinks. If you're visiting the city, take the streetcar from downtown to enjoy the houses (mansions) on St Charles Ave then get off at the stop at Napoleon Ave right in front of the restaurant.
