Sleek chophouse for wine & Italian fare
Italian · Little Italy · $$$
Italian mainstays drive this upscale Harbor East eatery from Atlas Restaurant Group (Ouzo Bay, Azumi), where dishes like duck confit bruschetta, housemade squid ink campanelle and dry-aged rib-eyes are accompanied by a textbook-sized wine list. Edison bulbs cast a warm glow on an art deco–inspired bar, while a strip of courtyard seating and nightly live music add a European-chic touch.

Guess we caught this place on a bad night. Everyplace has one. Service, I must say, was exceptionally poor. However, there were plenty of suits standing around talking with each other. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, for $56 I must say it was very disappointing and very small portion. The pasta was hard and there was a very limited amount of filling inside. My soft shell crab I would say was nice. The caesar salad and Kale salads I would definitely not recommend. If you are looking to spend $200 on dinner I might suggest you look someplace else.

We went during slow hours so it wasnt busy. Getting to sit outside in the sun was relaxing. It was a little annoying that they were doing construction on their patio. The food was amazing but I wish it had bigger portions or came with sides. The drinks were overpriced, like double than what we would normally pay and not overly fancy. Server was very nice and knew the menu well. We will definitely go again if we're in the area just not order the drinks.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was modern and energetic. Service could have been better, but wasn't a deal breaker. Worth considering if you want a fine Italian meal.
