It's "always a treat" to feast on "fresh" seafood in view of "the water's edge" at this "comfortable" , "friendly" Fisherman's Wharf "landmark" where "dinner at sunset" is "unforgettable" ; being in a "tourist zone" , "it's a bit pricy" , but the "old-school San Francisco" experience is "worth the bucks" for most.

Food was quite good, but not great. Had angel hair pasta with shrimp and bay scallops. Sauce was quite good. Pasta cooked perfectly. However, when I was offered cheese on my angel hair pasta, it was canned. The powder kind. Not fresh. Decor is dated. Remove the old carpet. Breathe some new life into the place. Views excellent. Not a bad seat in the house. Music was kind of smooth jazz. Again, kind of dated. Cheesecake dessert was fabulous! Real NY style cheesecake. Yum! Strawberry sauce was a bit much, bit still delish.

Went in for the view, and while we waited we got a few good pics. One star because we waited for 15 minutes without being greeted, although at least 2 waiters were sitting at an empty table rolling napkins and 2 hosts walked by us. Finally a gentleman walked past us saying "I will be right with you" he never came back. Eventually a different gentleman seated us and then left. We waited another 15 minutes before just walking out. No one came to our table in that time, not even for a drink order. The restaraunt was not busy at all. The only good thing about this experience was leaving so we could stumble upon the most amazing place to eat just down the road. Terrible, terrible, terrible. : (

Great Views. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was tasty, hot and arrived quickly. I had the crab salad sandwich and it was delicious. The decor was dated and I wouldn't describe the place as ukta clean, but it fit in well with what you would expect from a San Francisco seafood restaurant. The place has a little bit of grit, just like San Francisco. I would recommend this place and would dine there again.
