The “excellently prepared” fish and seafood ( “especially the octopus” ) are “the name of the game” at these “no-frills” tavernas where “traditional” Greek specialties are “delicious” too; “huge” portions add “value” , and while no reservations can make for “painful” waits, they’re “packed” for a reason.

This is the places to go to for the Greek seafood experience. Always busy so expect to wait. Great portions and food is always fresh. You can now tip via credit card. No reservations taken over the phone. Dinner always had a wait out the door. Best time to go is between lunch and dinner. People come from all over the city and world. I'm Greek and I always take friends here.

I've walked by this place a 1000 times & watched people wait 2 hours to get a table in the summer. I thought, come on how good could Greek food really be to wait like that? I finally went for lunch. In a area full of Greek joints this was by far the best ever! It's rare that something surpasses expectation but my visit certainly did!

Food is delicious. Never disappoints. Restaurant is crowded and noisy. No reservations. We had to wait about 45 minutes for a table on a week night at around 8pm. They serve free wine to the people who are waiting for tables. The whole thing can be fun if you can just relax and enjoy the experience. I will definitely go back.
